A Reversed Sensuality
My pictorial work explores the memory of matter, time, and trace. Through the use of natural pigments, wax, salt, and materials drawn from the territory, I construct layered surfaces in which gesture, erosion, and accident contribute to the formation of the image.
My recent works move toward smaller, more intimate formats, engaging in a search around organic markings and a sensibility akin to wabi-sabi, where imperfection, transformation, and ephemerality become essential elements of the composition.
Each piece functions as a palimpsest: layers appear, disappear, or transform, leaving visible traces of their own history. Painting thus becomes a space in which matter retains the memory of time and gesture.
